A volunteers-based club
La Traversée de Charlevoix is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of outdoor activities in the hinterland of Charlevoix.
La Traversée has opened and maintains trails for short or long hikes as well as 8 cottages and 6 cabins for the practice of hiking, backcountry skiing and mountain biking or snowshoeing. No motor vehicle is allowed on the trails.
La Traversée is opened year-round and offers some services as the shuttle of equipment, food and cars.

A commitment to the future of outdoor activities in Charlevoix
You can help La Traversée to achieve its goal by contributing financially to its development activities and/or helping with maintenance work.
Some works are occasionally organized for marking the trail, cleaning it or the cabins and cottages. The hard-work is done by our workers.
Have a great time working, making new friends, sharing experience and knowledge.
A membership card will be given to you when becoming a Friend. Its up to you to participate or not to the work. You will receive an account of the activities and be invited to the annual meeting.
The collected funds will be used for the maintenance of our equipment and for developing new projects.

Supporting member
You can also become a supporting member by giving more money.
Sponsorship
You can sponsor the maintenance of a cottage or a cabin or part of the trail.
Voluntary work
Members are also invited to participate to some voluntary work for cleaning or marking the trails or to repair cottages and cabins. Invitation will be forwarded by e-mail, phone or on our web-site.
