Cadot Trail

Section 3 Lac-à-la-Main to J.P. Cadot cabin 2.5 km

This section starts uphill on a large trail. After a short time, some summits can be seen. Suddenly , the ground becomes moss and rock;the view is panoramic on the mountains of Charlevoix. Then, behind the cabin J.P. Cadot, on the top located at 870 meters, lake à l’Écluse may be seen, as well as the mountains around the Charlevoix crater.

This trail is short, too short considering the beauty it offers. But it is part of a network that promises more joy to come. It is easy to walk on but due to the frequent differences in levels it might be considered as intermediate. It is also possible to get back to Le Dôme either by the same trail or by the road of the Zec.
